Leg split
While busy typing on my laptop one night, I heard a long, drawn out meow behind my chair. Namiko is usually very vocal when she wants her human companions to provide her with some service, including giving her food or treats and cleaning the litter box after her "deposits".
Turning around in my chair, I found Namiko staring at me, split leg-style:
"What is it, dear Namiko?"
No answer this time but a sleepy drop of the eyelids...
I must have waited too long to turn around.

Namiko didn't really sit like this on her own until she was almost 1 year old! You'll start noticing Meiko's torso will get longer and her stomach/hind area will get fatter as she gets closer to being 1 year old. I think once the body shape has changed, it will be easier (or almost natural) for her to sit like this.
We tried folding Namiko over to sit like this when she was younger, but she would always fall over. ^^;;;
Another change for Namiko: her ears are not so tightly folded anymore like it was when she was younger. Some Scottish Fold cats lose their ear folds as they grow older.

Thanks so much for all those information! :D Okay, I will try to be patient till Meiko will get 1 year old ;) Excited!! hehehe :D
Speaking of ears, you are right, the shape seems to be flexible. When Meiko came to my place, her ears were not folded very much, but when it got colder, they started to get folded again! Amazing, isn't it?
I have heard that the shape changes depending on the climates and some other factors. Namiko's ears may change again sometime? :)

murats, thanks for the info! I hope that is true for Namiko's ears too. I will keep watching them when the weather gets colder. =D
