Sun bathing
What does Namiko do on a sunny day while I am typing away on my laptop? She enjoys a bit of sunshine at the foot of my chair.

Umm, sniffing the wheels of the chair!
I just have to be careful not to step on Namiko when I stand up. Sometimes she lies below me so silently, I forget she's even there at all.

New exposure
Namiko's YouTube video of her with the Mouse in the House toy has garnished a lot of attention lately. 
She is grateful for all the viewers and kind comments but is unsure how to feel about all this exposure for one humble, bashful feline like herself.
Contemplating the meaning of all this, Namiko gazes out into space:
"This might take a while..." her lazy demeanor seems to say.

Panic Mouse revisited
Namiko gets tired of toys if they are left out too long or if we let her play with it too often. After a semi-long hiatus, we reintroduced Namiko to her Panic Mouse toy.

Spring forward
We had to spring forward one hour on our clock yesterday because of Daylight Savings. Namiko does not comprehend the human concept of time and thus, to her everything is happening one hour early. She must be really confused by this. 
Lucky side effect of this is that she now wakes me up one hour later than usual, giving me one extra hour of undisturbed sleep in the morning.

Ah, how nice it is to not be controlled by man-made time.
Gluttonous Namiko can look forward to eating dinner one hour early too.

Bedside sitting
Weather has been nice in SoCal lately. Alternating between days of sunshine and rain, Namiko gets a taste of chilly wetness and sunny warmth every few days. She's been getting eye boogers (discharge) again, so I have to clean them almost daily. Luckily, Namiko is used to me poking around her eyes, so she puts up very little resistance during the cleaning.
